🟠 The Role: RTP Connector
This isn’t a “position.”
It’s a bridge.
You connect:
RTP professionals ↔ Big Orange community
You help people step out of their routines
and into something they didn’t know they needed.
🟠 What You’ll Actually Do
1. Build the RTP Channel
Connect with people across RTP companies
Introduce Big Orange as something new (not just “another activity”)
Help shape the Triangle Tech Explorers vibe
2. Organize Small, Meaningful Experiences
Bring small groups onto the water
Help coordinate beginner-friendly sessions
Make it easy for people to say “yes”
3. Create Moments People Remember
Not events.
Moments.
someone’s first time lifting above water
sunset conversations after a ride
that feeling of “this is actually really cool”
4. Grow a Real Community
Spot natural connectors inside companies
Build long-term relationships (not one-time events)
Keep the vibe open, welcoming, and curious
