Why Big Orange Honors Service
At Big Orange, we believe the people who protect and serve our communities deserve moments to relax, recharge, and enjoy the outdoors.
Police officers, firefighters, EMTs, nurses, park rangers, and other public service professionals spend their days helping others. Their work is demanding and often stressful, and true downtime can be hard to find. The Public Service Appreciation Program is our small way of saying thank you.
Through this program, verified public service members are invited to experience the unique feeling of gliding above the water on an electric hydrofoil board. Calm lakes, open skies, and the quiet rhythm of the water create a space where riders can reset, breathe, and reconnect with nature.
Big Orange was built around the idea that water sports should be safe, welcoming, and beginner-friendly. Our team offers structured guidance to help first-time riders learn step by step. Many riders begin with simple land balance exercises and basic board control before progressing to smooth, stable flight above the water.
The goal is not competition or speed. The goal is confidence, balance, and freedom on the water.
As part of the program, verified public service members receive 50% off the First Ride Experience, available once per year.
For those who wish to stay involved with the club, Big Orange also offers a special 🍊 Honor Service Membership for $99 per year. This membership recognizes community service professionals and provides access to club activities, member sessions, and exploration rides throughout the season.
Who Qualifies for Honor Service Membership
The 🍊 Honor Service Membership ($99/year) is available to verified members of the following public service professions:
• Police
• Firefighters
• EMT / Paramedics
• Nurses
• Coast Guard
• Park Rangers
Verification may be required during registration.
